How to derive flux upper limit

Hello, I am analyzing eROSITA data from the early data release. I was wondering if there is a way to estimate the upper limit of the flux of an undetected source, since from a first look at the eSASS tasks it doesn't seem that there is a task devoted to this. What is the procedure you suggest? Regar...

Re: How to barycenter eROSITA data

Hello, Thank you for your suggestion, but I wasn't able to complete all the steps without errors. First of all, to change the name of the keywords I followed the instructions reported here . However, once I split the original data from the EDR in the 7 modules I obtain less than 16 tables in the fil...

Re: configure: error: caltools not found (should be part of headas)!

Thanks! We had not sourced heasoft. However, we managed to install eSASS only on Ubuntu 20.04. Even after the source command we are having issues with our machine with Fedora 35 and heasoft v6.28. When we source as you suggested we get to the make command and get this new error: libtool: link: gfort...

configure: error: caltools not found (should be part of headas)!

While building eSASS on two different computer with different Linux distributions (Ubuntu 20.04 and Fedora 35) we encountered the same error at two different steps: checking for library containing cbdcma_... no configure: error: caltools not found (should be part of headas)! make: *** [Makefile:365:...
