Hi,
I am interested in analyzing the half-sky maps in https://erosita.mpe.mpg.de/dr1/AllSkySu ... yMaps_dr1/, but they don't seem to be download-able as fits. Are they available somewhere else in archive? If not, are there any plans to make them publicly available in the near future? Thanks!
Erwin

Hi Erwin,
it is planned to release such maps, as soon as they become available. Broadband maps will be released soon.

Hi Susanne,
That's great! What is the expected release date? Which healpix resolution will the maps be?
Thanks,
Erwin

We've put some half sky maps here from Zheng et al.: https://erosita.mpe.mpg.de/dr1/AllSkySu ... yMaps_dr1/
However, they are projected maps and are not in Healpix format.

Thanks Jeremy!
I've managed to generate healpix maps from the tiles using your script https://github.com/jeremysanders/ero_hips_gen script, and this other one https://gist.github.com/tboch/f68cd1bb1 ... 40e54ba692.

Hi Erwin
I'm glad you've managed. However, remember that there's light leak in the soft band that's present in the pipeline-produced maps. There's also some (relatively mild) flaring in the harder band (see Merloni et al. 2.3-5.0 keV map).

Thanks. If I am not mistaken, it seems that only the tiles from all of the combined cameras (T1-T7) with filter are available for download (i.e. maps with '02?') in DR1. Will the tiles from individual camera available in the near future?

Hello,
You can create images (and/or event files) for the individual cameras from the combined file. You can use the eSASS task evtool by activating the option telid to select the telescope (check here: https://erosita.mpe.mpg.de/dr1/eSASS4DR ... l_doc.html).
Cheers,
Miriam
